US Customs Regatta Pre-Arrival Form

 

Effective January 31, 2008, there have been changes implemented to the documentary requirements to enter the United States.  Applicants 19 and over must now prove both identity and citizenship. One of the following documents should be presented to prove both identity and citizenship:  Passport, NEXUS Card, U.S. Passport Card, Canadian Citizenship Card, State or Provincial issued Enhanced driver’s license, Enhanced Tribal Cards, Native American Tribal Photo Identification Card, American Indian Card form I872.

All U.S. and Canadian citizens who do not have one of the documents listed above must present BOTH a government issued identification document and a citizenship document such as a State or Provincial license and a birth certificate.  U.S. and Canadian applicants 18 years and younger will be required to present a birth certificate.If you are a citizen of a country other than Canada, Bermuda, or the United States, you have to present a Passport and be issued additional specific documentary requirements.  Please consult the following website, www.cbp.net, or contact Patricia Janicki at the telephone number listed below for additional information. After clearance has been approved, you will then be given a clearance identification number. That number should be available upon request of any law enforcement official and should be posted on your boat so that it is visible while you are at dock.
